Jaden's Story

My son Jaden has a rare disorder called Septo-Optic Dysplasia (SOD). It causes blindness and/or hormonal imbalances. Jaden is completely blind. He gets some degree of light from the sun or when a light is turned on after long moments of darkness. Born on Christmas Eve in 2008, our angel is now almost 17 months old.

Now you can! We are throwing a Carnival Fundraiser for 17-month old Jaden Salsman who is blind due to septo-optic dysplasia. We are raising money to help him get an operation to restore his sight. http://www.raiseitnow.com/3600/operation-for-jadens-eyes

The Carnival will be at my parents' property in Ooltewah. They have 7-1/2 acres that they have graciously allowed us to use for this event. We will have games, food, booths, a silent auction, and fun all around.
